Privacy Policy
Learn what customer, order, Google sign-in, Razorpay, and analytics data Fine Mens Fabric collects and how it is handled.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to visitors, customers, and account holders who use Fine Mens Fabric, including browsing the website, creating an account, signing in with Google, contacting us, or placing an order.
By using the website, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this policy, subject to applicable law.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the store, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: full name, email address, mobile number, password hash for email-password accounts, account status, and account creation details.
- Google sign-in information: when you choose Google sign-in, we may receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and whether Google reports your email as verified.
- Order and shipping information: contact email, shipping name, phone number, address lines, city, state, pincode, ordered products, quantities, order notes, totals, and order history.
- Payment-related information: Razorpay order identifiers, payment identifiers, payment signature values, payment status, and order-level transaction references associated with your purchase.
- Contact and support information: name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, order number, purpose of enquiry, and the contents of any message you send us.
- Technical and session information: cookies, session data, guest cart identifiers, secure guest order-access tokens, device or browser signals, IP-related security logs, and similar information used for fraud prevention and site functionality.
3. What We Store Ourselves
Based on the current website implementation, we store customer profile details such as name, email, phone number, optional shipping address details, account provider details, order details, and Razorpay transaction reference fields needed to reconcile and support your order.
We do not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, internet banking passwords, or similar sensitive payment credentials on our own servers. Those are handled by Razorpay and the relevant payment networks or banks.
4. Razorpay Payments
We use Razorpay to process online payments. During checkout, Razorpay may collect and process information such as your name, email address, phone number, payment method details, billing or shipping details, transaction amount, device or browser information, and other information required to authorize and complete a payment.
In our current integration, we send Razorpay the order amount and currency and may prefill or associate your name, phone number, email address, local order number, and order notes. We store Razorpay order IDs, payment IDs, signatures, and payment status values returned in connection with your order.
5. Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in using Google, we request standard sign-in scopes associated with identity and profile access. This may share with us your Google account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and email-verification status so that we can create or link your account and let you sign in securely.
We use this information to authenticate you, link your Google account to an existing account when appropriate, personalize your profile, and help reduce duplicate account creation. We do not use Google sign-in to access unrelated Google data such as your Drive, Gmail, or contacts.
6. Google Analytics
We may enable Google Analytics on this website. If enabled, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and similar technologies to collect pseudonymous usage information such as page views, session statistics, approximate geolocation, browser and device information, and on-site interaction data.
Google's GA4 documentation states that Analytics can use a client identifier stored in the _ga cookie to distinguish users and sessions, and that IP addresses are used at collection time for location determination and then discarded before being logged in GA4. Exact data collected can vary depending on the Analytics configuration we enable.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, and Google also provides tools and information regarding Analytics privacy controls and opt-out choices.

12. Your Choices
You may contact us to update your account details, shipping profile, or other information you have submitted to us. You may also choose not to use Google sign-in, may manage cookies through your browser, and may refrain from providing optional information, although some features may then not function fully.
